Today, Merrick The Mentalist performs across Western North Carolina. From Wolf Laurel to Asheville and beyond.

Six years ago,  Merrick began performing as a magician in Asheville, NC. When, he was noted by many of his peers as having a drive unlike most in the field. “Nothing seemed to satisfy his curiosity”, recalls magician Jonathan Camp. During that time, Merrick reached a level of skill shared by the top magicians and was voted President of the most prominent magician based group in WNC. Yet, it was not enough.

Three years ago, Merrick stepped away from magic placing his focus entirely on the art of Mentalism. Stating, he was, “…hungry to grow as an artist, and Mentalism is logically, that next step”.
